Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear in Lacey Lilac

Can I just say that I am loving all the colors coming out for spring? I went to Target not too long ago and bought some new nail polishes. Of the two that I bought this one turned out to be my favorite. It is an absolutely beautiful color. I like the way it looks next to my skin and I love how it looks spring like but it's still a little muted so you can wear it now in the middle of winter. I've worn this a few times now and every time that I do I get questions about the color on my nails. I am happy to report that is is a long lasting nail polish (if you couldn't guess by the name Xtreme Wear) which is great for me. I'm a nursing assistant and I work full time in a nursing home so I was my hands a lot. I mean A LOT. So of course this means my nail polishes chip easily and faster than they would on their own. Most other nail polishes might start chipping 2 days after I put them on once I go back to work. This last 5 day's before I see chipping. That alone makes this polish a good buy!

Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet Review

I love watching beauty and makeup videos on Youtube. One of my favorites to watch is LegallyBrunette214. For the past week or so she has been wearing this beautiful mint color that I have been loving. Of course I don't know what it is. So today when I was in CVS getting more cotton balls and 2 new Wet n' Wild products I stopped over to look at the nail polishes. It had been a while since I bought a new color and there was a time when I bought a new color every time I went to the store. Then I saw it. There was this beautiful mint green that caught my eye and I knew that I had to have it and it was coming home with me. I went home and took of my old chipped polish and immediately put this on my nails. The application was very smooth and the color was very opaque. One a scale of 1-10 of opaqueness I would give this an 8. I did have to put on a fairly light second application to get the color pay off that I wanted. This is definitely a matte color and while the polish has a gloss finish of it's own I put on a separate top coat to get the supper glossy look that I wanted. I love this color and I have a feeling that this color is going to become a regularly used polish of my collection.

E.L.F. Nail Polish in Blush Review

I can't believe that I almost forgot that I bought this! I got this a few weeks ago when I purchased a few things from eyeslipsface.com for $2. I went to go repaint my toe nails when I found this in my nail polish collection. I'm so happy with this nail polish thus far. What I noticed during the application the most was how smooth the formula was. It's wasn't dry and it didn't clump or get goopy on me. It just glided on. For a shimmer nail polish I was quite pleased with the fairly opaque finish. I needed to apply a second coat to get the look I wanted but it would have looked just fine with one. With my skin tone this polish looks like a shimmery nude, which I love. Nude nails are my favorite look for fall and I like how the shimmer kind of kicks it up a notch. I won't review how well it wears threw out the week because my job requires me to wash a lot of dishes so it doesn't matter what polish I use it chips like crazy. So what's my basic over all review of this polish? Definitely a good buy (especially for only $2)!
