Rimmel London Lasting Finish Foundation Review

I have seen this foundation is several, and I do mean SEVERAL, makeup videos on youtube. I was always curious about this foundation. I had never used it before and none of my friend who wear makeup have ever used this so I had no one to really ask for their opinion. However, I have since purchased and tested this product. The first thing I noticed about this foundation right off the bat was the smell. It's not a bad smell, but it does have a perfume-y smell to it. It just caught me off guard because I've never had a foundation that had a smell to it. So for you girls who have sensitive skin I would be cautious when using this cause some perfumes can upset sensitive skin. Application was a bit tricky. I love my Angled Foundation Brush from E.L.F., its my go to brush. However, with this foundation I found that using my hands was much more effective. So I use some hand sanitizer, to kill bacteria that might give my acne prone skin something else to flair up over, and just rub this in like I do my moisturizer or primer. As for coverage I find this to be a light to medium foundation. I prefer a full coverage foundation just because I do have a lot of blemishes and acne scars, but if I used my Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Concealer I achieved the look I was going for. Because this is a liquid foundation I do recommend that you set this with a powder of your choice. If you want to give this foundation a try it's a very affordable product ranging from $6-8 dollars. Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer Review

I have been trying to get my hands on this primer for MONTHS! I wish I could say I was joking. However, I am sadly serious. The only down side to Hard Candy products is that they are exclusive to Walmart and because they are pretty cheap (this primer was $8) everyone and their mom wants them. So every time I went to Walmart to buy this primer it was gone or they had it in a finish that I wasn't interested in. However, the Makeup Gods smiled in my favor this week and there it was. The Hard Candy Primer I had been trying to review forever and a day. First lets start with the easy stuff, the packaging and the price. I personally love the packaging. It is very much my style. It's girly with a little bit of rock and roll in it. Love it. This is a 1.6 oz bottle for $8. My Too Faced Primed and Poreless is a 1 oz bottle for $30. Just to give you a reference. Now on the the good shit, how this preforms. I love this primer. Love it. It makes my face feel nice and smooth. It doesn't have a smell, but it does have a  weird constancy. It comes out looking like a white cross between a gel and a cream. You don't need much to get the job done, it's very easy to work into your skin. I think this made my foundation last just as well as my Too Faced Primer and for a serious fraction of the price I may not repurchase the Too Faced Primer.

E.L.F. Studio Single Eyeshadow in Pebble Review

If you couldn't tell I have a serious love for E.L.F. products! I love how cheap they are, how easy it is to buy them, and the fact that they have promo codes all the time! It's hard not to buy from them. Recently I've been trying to focus on makeup brushes and the like instead of buying more makeup, however I failed a little. I ended up buying an E.L.F. Studio Single Eyeshadow in Pebble for $3. It is a small shadow and the packaging kind of reminds me of Nars products. There's even a small mirror inside. I personally think the mirror it too small for initial application but I could see it being handing for touch ups. The color in person is true to the color they show on the website. That's always one of my biggest worries when ordering any kind of colored cosmetic item online, will the color be what I saw online? The answer with this shadow is yes. The color pay off it self isn't that strong. I don't want to call it a sheer application but it's certainly not a strong color payoff, however you can easily build this. I would use this color day or night by it's self or as a crease color.

E.L.F. Essential Custom Eyes Review

I went to Target with a friend a few weeks ago trying to spend the remainder of a gift card I had received for Christmas. As you have seen in this blog before I love E.L.F. products. I love the price, I love the quality, I pretty much love everything about them. I had been looking at these colors online but wasn't sure if I wanted to buy them. However, when I saw them at Target I had to have them. As you can see with the colors on the left I chose pretty neutral colors. The colors are from the the top left hand corner going clock wise they are Pink Ice, Wheat, Driftwood, and Moondust. I was a little disapointed with Moondust only because the magnetic sticker was coming off a little when I opened it but the color itself it just beautiful. I actually wore these colors last night out to karaoke. Everyone complemented me and asked what I had usesed and wanted to know where they could get them! These colors are also very easy to blend with great color pay off. Wheat is the only color that has less than ideal color pay off. You can get color just not vibrant color, but I've found that if you apply it with a sponge applicator that's not an issue. Just be sure to pat the color on instead of rubbing it on. Each of the single eye shadows were $1 and so was the case to put them in. $5 total isn't bad if you ask me. My only suggestion is to take the shadows out of the packaging before you buy them to make sure the magnet stickers aren't coming off of them. Moondust stays in it's slot but I have to be careful or it will fall out. All in all I think these are great shadows with beautiful color and I would recommend everyone go get these.
