Too Faced Naked Eye Boxed Pallet Soft and Sexy Eye Shadow Collection Review and Suggested Eye Look

I bought this pallet from Sephora a while ago and its since found its way to the bottom of my collection just from buying other things and using other products. So last night when I was getting ready to go out to my dad's show I looked through my collection with the goal of using something other than my usual products. I found my Too Faced Naked Eye Pallet and thought I'd give it a shot. I am so glad I did. I forgot how smooth and creamy Too Faced shadows are. What drew me to this pallet when I bought it was the cool tones and the taupe and cool gray shadows. I've purchased other Too Faced products in the past and have always loved them and this was no exception. As with all high end products it's a bit pricey, $36, but with the color saturation these shadows have it's worth it. Now for my suggested eye look. I took Satin Sheets and patted it on 3/4 of my lid. Then I took Lap Dance and put it all over my lid. I used Unmentionables to deepen my outer v. Last but not least, for my brow bone highlight I used In the Buff. The look was a smokey eye with a light color on the lid to keep the eye from looking too small. I hope this has been helpful. Ralph Lauren Big Pony Women's Collection #3 Review

Lately I have really been getting into perfumes. I have a whole list of perfumes I want to get my hands on, this happens to be one that I managed to do just that. Of course you could buy this perfume in a regular sized bottle, however I change perfumes so often it just made more sense for me to buy the roller ball size. I picked this up at Ulta for $19. I wish I could say I'm kidding when I tell you I have been dreaming of this perfume for at least 2 months now. I was reading a magazine and they had samples of the whole collection inside. I also liked #1 because of the clean crisp smell, but this stole my heart. I have a weakness for floral scents and this is most certainly floral. The first time I wore this out to karaoke I had several people, including my mom, ask me what I was wearing. That's how you know you smell good. Because of the floral scent I think that this would be a wonderful perfume for the upcoming spring. Needless to say this will be a perfume I will repurchase if I ever run out of the roller ball. I recommend you go to your nearest Ulta or Sephora and take a whiff of this perfume and see if this is something that should take place among your own perfume collection. Be Fearless. Be Beautiful. Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer Review

It is no secret that I am as pale as a ghost. I mean seriously, if I could create my own makeup line I would name my foundation shade "Ghost". As you can imagine being as pale as I am has made it hard to find a bronzer that doesn't look like dirt is smudged on my face. I want  to look tanner, or in my case human, not like I've been doing yard work all day. I've used Too Faced's Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and found it was too dark for me. I see girl after girl raving about it on youtube but it just doesn't work for me. So I thought I would give the Milk Chocolate version a try. It's significantly lighter than the regular Chocolate version. It still has a chocolaty smell to it, and is completely matte so you use it year round and you can certainly use it for contouring. I picked this up at Ulta for $29. A little pricey, sure. However, if bronzer is something you use on a daily basis this product could have some value to you. Be Fearless. Be Beautiful. Be You.

Hard Candy Glamoflauge v. Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer

I know that I personally have heard a lot of comparisons between these two concealers and since there is a major jump in price I thought I would give you an evaluation of how they compare  to each other. First lets start with the basics: price, amount of product, and color range. With Hard Candy Glamoflauge you get 0.71 oz for $6. While Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer will cost you $28 for 0.58 oz. Now as you can imagine Hard Candy doesn't come in a lot of shade ranges. Your options are Light, Medium, and Dark. Kat Von D has eight color options catering to more people with yellow and pink undertones. As far as coverage goes I think these are really close if not the same in that department. Personally I think the only reason you should buy the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer is if Glamoflauge doesn't match your skin color. If you're like me and you have vary fair skin I would recommend you go with Kat Von D. However, if you have warmer skin and tend to wear colors like "natural beige" I would say give the Glamoflauge a try first. Long story short I think Hard Candy is a better value cause it is just as good as Kat Von D's concealer. However, if Hard Candy's color selection doesn't work for you Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Concealer is a wonderful alternative and worth every penny.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation Review

Now this is the first high end foundation I have ever tried. However, I don't think that will make a difference in how I review this product. Foundation is foundation whether its drugstore or high end should not matter. Let's start with the basics. This foundation will run you $38 from Sephora. It is available in eight different shades: Fair, Ivory, Light, Light Medium, Medium, Tan, Tan Deep, and Deep. I do like the packaging. The look is cute and goes along with Tarte's all natural theme. I also like that there are two spots in the packaging that allows you see the product inside. The most obvious helpful part if that is to see the color of the foundation, so you can tell if it will work with your skin tone or not. The second part is so you can see how much product you have left. There's a special spot on the right side of the bottle that has makers on it that you can see through so you can see how much product you have left. The consistency of this foundation was a little thick in comparison to other liquid foundations I have used. I'm sure that's due to the amazonian clay. However, it doesn't feel thick or heavy on your skin. It actually feels quite nice on your skin. As far as application goes I do think you need a dense brush to get this all over your face. Because it is so thick it takes a little effort to move this over your face. Now I don't mean you'll be working up a sweat or anything like that, but it does take some work. I personally think a sponge would work best with applying this foundation. Now last but not least; coverage, color, and wear. I think the coverage of this foundation was medium to full coverage. You can certainly build this foundation up to get a full coverage look if that's what you desire. However, I don't feel its a straight out-of-the-tube full-on full cover foundation. Which personally I like. I don't always want or need a full coverage look. I like that you can built it up and kind of customize your look a bit. As far as color goes I think this the best foundation I have ever had that matches my skin tone flawlessly. I bought the Ivory color because I know I'm in that shade range and I was afraid that the color Fair would have been too yellow for me. I was right and I couldn't be happier with the color. Now on to wear. I have oily skin so foundations tend to break down on me relatively fast. Nevertheless, I didn't have that problem with this foundation. it stayed in place and wore beautifully. I did get a little oily on my forehead, but it wasn't anything outrageous or bad. It was a normal amount of oil, my forehead was no oil slick. I honestly think the only reason I noticed it is because I have oily skin. Other than that I don't think I would have paid it any attention. All in all I give this 5 our 5 stars rating. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to all my friends (and trust me I have!). I hope this review was helpful if you were on the fence about buying this product. Be Fearless. Walmart and Sephora Haul!

I recently bought a few (and I really mean a few) items from Walmart and Sephora. From Walmart I picked up the Hard Candy Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder for $8. I haven't used it yet but I have to say I am a big fan of the packaging. Underneath the powder is a Hard Candy sponge in the shape of pink heart and a mirror that has the Hard Candy logo written across the top and then along the bottom it says "Get ready for your close up". I don't know why but I find that really cute. The bottom is vented so the sponge, if you choose to use it, wont build up as much bacteria. However, like I said I haven't used it yet so a review will  come at a later date. Then from Sephora I picked up from Tarte, which is a brand I've never used before, their 12 hour Amazonian Clay Foundation for $38. I saw this on QVC when they were featuring with the Tarte Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush.  However, they didn't have an ivory option and for the amount of money it would have cost me I didn't want it in the wrong color. I have used it once and my initial reaction is that I like it. Also from Sephora I bought a face wash from Soap and Glory for $16. I haven't used it yet either but I am looking forward to it. I'm trying to use up my other face wash first, which shouldn't be too much longer, and I wanted free shipping. I will be doing reviews on all these products so keep an eye out! Hope you enjoyed!

Cover FX Clear Prep Matte Foundation Primer & Anti-Acne Treatment Gel Review

I received a sample of this in my recent purchase from Sephora. I heard about this from LegallyBrunette214 on youtube and wanted to give it a try but I already had a primer that I loved so shelling out $45 for a full size bottle wasn't exactly on the top of my priority list. However, when I saw that I could "buy" a sample of this with my points from my Sephora Beauty Insider Card I couldn't turn it down. I do have oily acne prone skin and while I have come to the terms that I will probably always have acne I do not have to suffer from oily skin. I think this primer does an amazing job at keeping your skin matte. I wore this out to karaoke and that bar gets hot, very hot. It's just a matter of time before you start sweating. However, with this primer I didn't have any oils slipping threw onto my foundation giving my face the appearance of an oil slick. You can only imagine how happy that made me. The primer it self is a clear gel that has a very light scent that you can hardly smell unless you're looking for it. I thought this worked very well under my foundation. It didn't cause any discoloration or effect the way my foundation went on in anyway shape or form. If you are a girl who suffers from extreme oily skin I would seriously recommend that you check this out. It just may be your holy grail primer.

Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer Review

I recently received a sample size of this with my Sephora order. I have never tried another Benefit product before so I had no clue what to expect. I put this product threw the ultimate test and wore this to work. I did notice a few things I liked when I was applying this. I like the fact that this is a thicker feeling eyelid primer. I also like that this is a skin tone colored primer so it evens out any discoloration you may have on your lids. However, this did not stand up to my test. I did have some creasing at the end of my eight hour shift. However, I will say that I don't think that it was the primers fault. I think it was because I was in a seriously hot room for most of the night. I feel like this is a good primer, jut not if you live in very humid area. I would recommend this product and if I was in the mood to try a new primer I would probably buy this.
