Quick Tip for People with Oily Skin!

I recently did a post on a book called Pro Makeup and some of the tips it contained. One of the most helpful tips I found was applying powder according to skin type. I had never heard of this before. If you watch people on youtube everyone applies their powder using a powder brush. There is nothing wrong with this but I have learned something better for people with oily skin. Use a powder puff to press the powder into the skin. That's right, a powder puff. See when you have oily skin you need a more concentrated application of the powder to keep your skin looking matte. The powder puff gives you that concentrated application. If you get too much powder on your face just use a powder brush to sweep off the excess. If you have normal to dry skin I wouldn't recommend this method because if you have any dry areas on your face the powder will cling to them and emphasize them. The best part about using powder puff is they are cheap and easy to find. You can find them at drug stores or find them at places like eyeslipsface.com or robertjonesbeautyacademy.com. E.L.F. sells packs of four at a dollar a pack. Robert Jones Beauty Academy sells single large powder puffs for $2.75. The only major difference I can see between them is Robert Jones Beauty Academy has the strap on the back of their puffs while E.L.F. does not. Not a big difference but certainly a matter of preference. I hope this tip helps all you with oily skin!
